And I could be the only person in the world bothered by this, but every update adds a ne MB shortcut to my desktop. Except sometimes I think the upgrade one times out after 12-14 hours and gets me twice, so it's 4 per day. So that is up to 3 daily pop-ups from a product that used to run quietly in the background protecting my computer like a badass watchdog. "Buy now and get 3 devices protected for the price of one!" This is a scummy new sales tactic that MB has just rolled out, a line they just decided it is OK to cross. If there's a new upgrade that you haven't applied yet, you get another pop-up! "A new update is available! Your computer might restart during this process." Of course you will be 'gifted the free Premium trial whether you like it or not. What it really means is you get 14 days of annoying daily pop-ups "Hey! You only have X days left of Premium Protection! Upgrade now!" EVERY Malwarebytes update comes with a "Free!" Premium Trial - you don't have the option to decline this, of course. I sort of assume that negative feedback like this will be removed, since this is an official or semi-official company outlet, and they may not be interested in disgruntled ex-customers.
